For over 30 years, I have worn many hats in the healthcare industry. I've been a vice president at one hospital, a compliance officer at another; I've taught auditing at prestigious colleges, consulted for over 2,000 providers, and much more. I launched PCA in 2001 because I am passionate about helping providers, and wanted to bring together high level individuals who believe in the provider plight and want to see them paid appropriately for the long hours and hard work they put into caring for patients. Our goal at PCA is to educate providers on how to capture the legitimate and appropriate revenue opportunities available to them by understanding how to bill and code correctly. Our advisers, instructors and employees are physicians, lawyers, former government officials (e.g. OIG, CMS), AAPC members, PMCC instructors, certified compliance officers, certified coders, certified billers, hospital CEOs, and nurse practitioners.

We have audited over 100,000 records and increased practice revenues between 5-31%. We have helped practices to understand the significant risks associated with over-coding. We have eliminated or lowered paybacks to insurance companies, as well as successfully overturned many government audits.

The bottom line is: we don't tell you what you want to hear, we tell you what you need to know. We believe our success is attributed to seeking out appropriate counsel and knowledge necessary to understand what the government and insurance companies want to see in medical records to support payment for patient services. Government and insurance audits are on the rise. PCA is here to audit your records and advise if you are under-coding, over-coding or missing billable services.
