The PCA certification is a nationally recognized designation. The rise in government and
insurance audits across the country continually grows each year. Maintaining your PCA
certification is an important step in ensuring you are up-to-date on auditing trends to
guarantee optimal compliance with local, state, and national industry standard guidelines.
Your PCA certification is good for 2 years from the date you complete the course. The cost to
re-certify is $50.00.
You can satisfy maintenance requirements in any of the following manners:
- Take the Online PCA Recertification Test.
- Secure 10 CEUs from any educational conference, seminar or local event.
- (Note: we will
recognize all major organizations offering CEUs such as AAPC, AHIMA, HCCA, etc).
- Or, if you have been an instructor/educator in the field of billing, coding, compliance
topics for up to 10 hrs during the 2 yr period.
