Core Training Objectives:
To enable the attendee:
    •    To understand the critical differences between ICD-9-Volume 3 and ICD10-PCS
    •    To review and understand the changes in the ICD9 to ICD10 General Format and Guidelines.
    •    To participate in a self-assessment of their current anatomy and physiology knowledge  in order to determine what areas of instruction they will need to focus on in the program to successfully implement ICD10.
    •    To identify documentation needs from providers in order for them to correctly report new ICD10 codes at the highest level of specificity.
    •    To allow the attendee “hands-on” experience in the application of ICD10 codes through mock patient care visits.
    •    To obtain additional resource information in order to stay up to date with any changes during the ICD10 transition.
